WHY WE RETAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION
MoodyAudio.com retains some, but not all, of the personal information you provide us on the website to improve our customer service. We use the information to:
- Retain order information should you put an order on hold.
- Assist in forwarding information specific information you request to you when a conference changes a schedule, a speaker or a talk content.
- Save you the task of re-entering address information when you place another order
- Enable you to quickly check on the status of an order or an open customer service issue
- From time to time we may also use your contact information to get feedback from you on how effectively we are serving the Christian community, and to inquire into others ways we might be of service.
CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
When you place an order on the MoodyAudio.com website your credit card is authorized but we do not charge your card until your order ships. We never have access to your credit card number however. Instead, we are given a special code by the credit card processing company and we send this code back to the credit card company when your order ships. This ensures that no one at Moody Audio ever has access to your credit card number. While this does maximum the security of your transaction it might inconvenience you in that whenever you place additional orders on the system you will be required to re-enter your credit card number every time. We consider this a small price to pay for the added security of the transaction, but we apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
WHEN WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION
MoodyAudio.com will not share your personal information with any third party. If you elect to receive general e-mail information from our member conferences then the conferences will pass the information to Moody Audio and we will distribute the information to you. And if you elect to receive this information and at some point in the future change your mind you can edit your user profile to remove yourself from the general e-mail list.
Should a situation ever arise that requires us by law to provide information to law enforcement we will comply with both state and federal law.
